WHEN JORDIE AND CHAD first contacted me about photographing their wedding, I was thrilled to hear that they were planning to have their wedding at The Silver Fox Venue! The Silver Fox has been on my list of “Cool venues where I’d love to shoot” for a little while now, and I’m so grateful that they chose me to photograph their wedding there this coming November! Jordie and Chad’s engagement session was so much fun, and the weather was perfection! We’d had a week of rain, and then out of nowhere, on the day of their engagement session, the sun came out—and it was glorious! Their genuine smiles tell all. 🙂

These two were troopers. They climbed down a STEEP, rocky hill to get here. I think it was worth it. 😉

I almost always prefer color for my photographs. I LOVE black and whites, don’t get me wrong, but color most often jives with my shooting style. Not this time! Black and white all the way.

Love Chad’s genuine laugh in this photo! When your photographer asks you to tuck your fiancé’s hair behind her ear, and your hand gets stuck… 🙂
