Wedding Photographer Peoria IL | Winter Engagement Session

Melissa and Tate got in touch with me about photographing their September wedding on a Saturday, a few days later we met for coffee to get to know each other, and we took these engagement photos the following weekend! I think that’s how they’ve done this whole wedding thang—they have a short, 7-month engagement and Melissa picked out her dress within 24 hours of getting engaged!! I, on the other hand, have had a family session planned for the Bartman’s for weeks and I’m STILL struggling to pick out something to wear! Melissa, can you come be my decision maker/planner/organizer, pretty please? I need your skills!

It was 58 degrees and sunny when we took their engagement photos, and I just love how their bright, joyful personalities shine through in the photos! You can tell how much they enjoy being with each other, and there’s no more beautiful thing to witness. My favorite photos of the whole session are the last few—that light could not have been more perfect!! ❤❤❤
